Anivision in 2010?? Believe it!!

OK, first off if you don't know I've had to put the development of the site on the back burner because I've gone back to school (Web Dev. Major ^_^) . If it wasn't for Jrow I probably would have just given up on resurrecting Anivision all together but his podcast idea was the motivation I needed to keep this up. I've wanted to develop Anivsion from the ground up but because I'm not able to do that will NOT mean that Anivision will die. I've decided to work with Grou.ps a startup that is doing a similar login system to what I wanted to begin with. Of course this means if you are a member of Facebook you can use FB connect to log in (just hit the connect button and that's it). This new site will allow us to better communicate with you, we will still try to be active on the Facebook group but most of our activity will probably be moved to this new space. Anivision.org will eventually be pointed to this new spot as well.

With all that said we will be keeping up with a real blog in 2010, it will contain the show notes along with any other things we decide to post. I would really love your input at this point since I feel lost without everyone's opinion so with this post I'll be asking everyone what your new Years Resolutions are. Mine, of course, is to make Anivision even better than it was before we lost it nearly 5 years ago.

And now, your host...

Hey all. Without me, Anivision doesn't exist.
Ok, that's completely ridiculous. Without me, the Anivision Podcast doesn't exist.

The podcast was my way of giving Xcom something to get the good Anivision name to all of you in more places. The podcast has become a fun way for me to keep up with those guys weekly while making original content for Anivision.
Expanding to the 4-man group has been good. While we've only had 3 official episodes of us four together, there's a chemistry that's much more enjoyable for us (and hopefully the listener) than if it were any combo of just 3.

To get back to Xcom's point, anime news worth reporting is few and far between. There's plenty more game news, so it's difficult to strike a balance between game & anime news for a podcast that's supposed to "Bring the Worlds of Anime & Gaming Together".

We're breaking for Christmas, but next week's show should be fun as we look back and look ahead to 2010.

Believe It!
